Caught In The Moment- 1

I don’t know why I didn’t start to read the Bible sooner. I don’t know why I didn’t have the urge or feeling to read it. I don’t know what held me back from discovering so many amazing things, so much wisdom and so many insights to help one live in this world. I don’t know why I was drawn to reading novels that are nothing compared to this book called the Bible.

The Bible is everything. There’s nothing you’re looking for that’s not in it. Don’t limit your mindset and think you’ll never find the answers to what’s been bothering you. If you’ve made up your mind that it can’t be there, then it won’t. “So that they may look and look, yet not perceive; they may listen, yet not understand…”(Matthew 3:12) If you read it with no interest and no belief that you’re going to find your answer, then you’ll keep looking but find nothing. The answer will be right before you, but you won’t see it or even understand it.

I didn’t know any of this before. I didn’t even care much about reading the Bible. But now, I can’t even go a day without reading it. It’ll just keep ringing in my head and making me feel guilty until I finally open it. You may think it’s just a book but I feel like it contains my whole life’s journey. I just have to keep opening it each day, to find out my next step. The Bible can speak to you in many different ways using just one chapter or even a verse. Don’t ever limit the answers and wisdom this book holds.

I had a question that kept bothering me. Everyone kept giving me different answers that still kept me worrying. Then I asked the One who knows anything and everything. I got my answer by opening this book and I felt relieved and satisfied at last. The Bible can take away your worries, your fears, everything really but only if you let it.

You can’t ask someone a serious question jokingly or uninterestedly and expect a real answer. In the same way, you can’t find your answers in this book if you’re not taking Him seriously. I was just fascinated by the amount of wisdom this book holds and then I knew I had to get my phone and start typing. If you’re not reading it, trust me you’re missing out on a lot of wisdom.

You may think it’s boring but that’s just your mindset. Once you truly and wholeheartedly make up your mind to read it, I’m telling you now, you won’t stop. It holds power, wisdom, strength, it’s just everything.

You have something bothering you and nobody has an answer that satisfies you. You’ve just been approaching the wrong people. Man can’t give you all the answers you need but you know who can.

Even if you’ve never asked Him anything before, just try it out today. And don’t say you don’t know the Him I mean. We all know you know lol. Don’t be scared because He’s a loving and merciful Father. Ask Him that question today and even if you haven’t read the Bible before, start now. Open it knowing that you’re going to find the answer you’ve been looking for and trust me you’ll see it.
